“For Cleveland band Monday Night Social, music is about community and a desire to share intimate experiences through an expansive aural conductor. Boasting miraculous three-part harmonies and a bucolic indie-folk perspective, their work beats at the chambers of your heart but doesn’t wallow in simple sentimentality. They lovingly craft gentle but driven folk melodies that seep into the deepest parts of your bones...Coming off their well-deserved win at Road to Nightfall, and their subsequent time performing at Nightfall, the band has been working on a handful of songs that blend Southern rock ‘n’ roll, pop, folk, bluegrass and blues. These songs form the basis of their recent EP, “Mixtapes Never Lie,” a collection of five tracks that skirts along the periphery of a dozen genres while retaining its own unique personality.”

Shutting Down TN is definitely our most popular original song. It played on national radio upon release and is still one of our most requested songs. The music video released with it does a great job of capturing the energy we have when playing our own music.
If you are looking for a more intimate set, Christian, Brock and Janet are able to deliver a trio show that still captures that MNS vibe with embedded three-part harmonies and energetic covers.

Christian Mann and Brock and Janet McGarity, founding members of Americana band Monday Night Social, share a passion for music evident in the strength of the lyrics, melodies, and 3-part harmonies which anchor everything they do. Drawing on their diverse range of influences, they weave a tapestry of sound that effortlessly blends elements of blues, folk, country, bluegrass, and rock into their own unique sound. With their latest album, “Watch it Burn,” (released in 2019) Monday Night Social remain true to their vision of soaring yet intricate, emotionally charged harmonies while demonstrating a real maturity in the craft of songwriting.
